Venue

Plzeň, also called Pilsen in English and German, is the fourth most populous city in the Czech Republic situated in western Bohemia (about 90 kilometres southwest of Prague).

Plzeň was founded on the confluence of four rivers by the Czech king Wenceslas II in 1295. The city quickly became an important town on trade routes leading to Nuremberg and Regensburg in Germany. Nowadays, Plzeň is an important industrial, commercial, cultural, and administrative center. The metropolitan area of the city covers 137 square kilometers and its population is 170 000 inhabitants.

Conference location

The conference will be held at the Angelo Hotel Pilsen, a brand-new comfortable accommodation and congress facility in the very center of the city. The hotel is placed right opposite to the famous Pilsner Urquell brewery and is within walking distance of the old town.
